We've launched a campaign to support our African American girls - and you can be a part of it! Brilliant. Bold. Beautiful. is an initiative to provide positive images and supports to this group of students to dismantle the myth society has created around their identity.

These t-shirts are one of many ways we can celebrate and help our girls better understand their potential and legacy of scholarship and excellence.

Instrument Drive February 1 & 2

Give a child the chance to make music! Bring any used instrument to The Music Shoppe on February 1 or 2, and Champaign Schools will provide it to a student in need. Central HIgh School closed on Friday, January 25 - water main break

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR CENTRAL FAMILIES: Due to a water main break, Central High School will be closed to students today, Friday, January 25.

Students who are arriving now or are in transit will be directed to their first period class while transportation is being arranged for their return home.

Winter Weather Cancellations for January 19

Due to forecasted winter weather, Unit 4 is cancelling all school activities and practices on Saturday, January 19. Activities on Friday, January 18 will take place as scheduled.

School administrators and coaches will notify parents and students about rescheduling, if needed.

Reduced Yellow Bus Service on Thursday, January 17

The Champaign Unit 4 School District will have morning reduced bus services. There will be no yellow school busses operating this morning for elementary or secondary students living in the areas listed below:

Kindergarten registration happening now through March 29

Kindergarten registration is happening now through March 29. Families with incoming kindergarten students residing in the Champaign Unit 4 School District may register for the 2019-2020 school year and rank their elementary school preference in the Schools of Choice process.

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019, to register for kindergarten.Younger siblings of current Unit 4 students should also register during this time.

Champaign Unit 4 School District announces Chief Communications Officer
